To fulfill the objective of this point of research, we have gone through the
Holy Qur’an, teachings of prophet Muhammad, together with original documentations
of the Prophet’s life. Findings are classified as follows:

The word “Islam” as used in the Holy Qur’an and prophet
Muhammad’s teachings does not point to a creed that was meant to be
parallel to, or competitive with other existing creeds. “Islam”, in its
original sense pointed to the eternal call from Allah to man to
surrender to the Divine Law of Life. Namely, it points to the One
Religion and Many Revelations. |

The Revelation to The Prophet Muhammad uncovered the core call of the One Primordial
Religion that had been revealed from Adam to Jesus. Confirmation through Clarification
was the way of Islam as revealed to prophet Muhammad when
explaining to followers of Moses and Jesus their own teachings and handling
the problematic issues that had confused both. |

Islam as revealed to Prophet Muhammad introduced the Main Concepts that elucidate the base of the one Primordial Religion that was expressed
gradually through all Revelations. Those concepts are: |

Surrender to the Divine Law is associated with faith in
the Unseen. |

To be "God's Servant" Abdullah is the highest rank that man can
achieve. |
 |
The Islamic Testimony (Al-shahada): “there is no god but God, Muhammad
is the Messenger of God”, La Ilaha Illa Allah, Muhammad Rasulu Allah,
reflects a path to spiritual freedom. |

Man's need to have a “direction” or a “focus” in his life is symbolized in
the concept of “Al Quibla” (turning one’s face to the House of God). |

Every aspect of The spiritual training system: |

Ritual Prayer (Salat), |

Alms Giving (Zakat), |
 |
Fasting( Sawm), |
 |
and Pilgrimage (Hajj) |

| emphasizes the basic belief on which the Revelation to Prophet Muhammad and other
Revelations were founded. Namely, they aim at nurturing the heart and mind by Light,
to prepare Man for receiving God's grace. |

The Revelation to Prophet Muhammad guides man to lead a balanced
life where s/he can fulfill her/his spiritual needs through all her/his
earthly activities without such dichotomy between body and spirit.
Balance and Justice are to be realized for all, |

when dealing with the natural world, |
 |
in human relations |
 |
and when forming social systems. |

The way that prophet Muhammad adhered to on carrying The Islamic Call was characterized by respect to freedom of faith and professing diversity
of creeds as part of the natural laws of creation. |

The Islamic Call invited all humans to come to "common
terms", |
 |
Namely, adhere to the Path that leads to inner freedom. It aimed at spreading
peace. |

And it expressed Tolerance in Relationship with People of the Book. |
